LC1 Basculant Style Chair
-
Detail
Henri never let his guests get too comfortable. His apartment, all chrome and glass, was a place for ideas, not indulgence. The chairs were a test. You didnt sink into themyou perched, poised, alert.
From these seats, he had negotiated deals, ended love affairs, and once, without raising his voice, convinced a filmmaker to scrap an entire third act. The steel frame was cool against bare arms in the summer, the black leather taut and unyielding. It wasnt a chair to curl up in. It was a chair for making decisions.
And Henri liked it that way.
