Large Oak Waterfall Coffee Table

This coffee table belonged to Julian, a set designer who built entire worlds out of wood, fabric, and clever lighting.

His apartment was a test lab for scenes that would never be built��miniatures of cityscapes, dramatic staircases made from foam core, a single red chair placed just so to catch the afternoon light.

This table, with its sculptural bentwood form, was where it all started. Every morning, coffee in hand, he��d sketch out ideas onto a large piece of paper rolled out across the tabletop. The ghost of graphite lingered even after he wiped the table clean. It had the perfect height, the perfect curve, the perfect presence��"a stage in itself," he liked to say.?
