Midcentury Mahogany X-Frame Desk

Detail
Maurizio didnt believe in clutter. His Florentine office was a study in restraintjust this desk, a chair, and a single sharp pencil placed at the exact center of the glass writing surface.
Every morning, he arrived at precisely 8:00, the scent of polished mahogany mingling with his espresso. Hed sit, tap his fingers on the smooth surface, and begin sketching. The legs of the desk, angular and lean, reminded him of the architectural lines he chased in his own designs.
As the city hummed below, he would lean back, gaze at his work, and exhale. Good design, he believed, was about balance. And this desk understood that perfectly.
